Internal mechanism for data materialization

Until version 2.0.11, the analyses that showed too much slowness generally needed a specialized professional in the database to revise the SQL query. However, in several statuses, it was still necessary to materialize the data manually, outside the SE Suite solution, so that the data were finally loaded quickly.

 

Now, in version 2.0.12, A data-materialization mechanism is available directly in the SE Suite tool itself, which can be used when the SQL query has already been reviewed, but is still slow, either by the very complexity of the SQL query and or by the slowness of the external data source.

 

In tests, after enabling the materialization in the analysis with the external data source, a reduction in the run-time from 10 to 0.1 seconds was obtained. That means, in practice, that the vision will be available much faster for users, thus enabling a more efficient and enjoyable experience, mainly on portals, where interaction with data through drill down and filters is very intense.

 

Facilitating the data sorting in OLAP

Aiming at centralizing and facilitate the sorting of the data within the OLAP, a unique button has been developed to sort. Through this button, it is possible to track how the data is sorted and easily modify the sorting whenever necessary.

 

 

To sort a field, simply expand the panel and double-click on the field or drag it to the list on the right and drop it in the desired place. And in each sorted field, it is possible to change the ascending or descending criterion.
