Until version 2.0.13, the maximum time for executing the queries in the database was 5 minutes fixed, that is, a slow query was trying to run for up to 5 minutes.
In order for each customer to be able to control and configure this parameter more appropriately to their profile, from 2.0.14, the "Analytics Configuration
General parameters" menu has two configuration options:
1.Timeout for SQL command execution, by default it is in 5 minutes, and if changed it is recommended to stay between 1 and 5 minutes.
2.Timeout for materialization, which by default is in 5 minutes, but for large volumes of data it may be necessary to set up a time longer than 5 minutes.
Also, in 2.0.14, in the list of analyses and visions, new columns were made available, as shown below, which allow monitoring executions and materializations, besides assisting the administrator to take actions to improve performance.
In the Timeout for SQL command execution configuration to use time longer than 5 minutes, it will be required to perform supplemental settings on the application server. If necessary, consult the technical support. |
In order to prevent some users from triggering the feature of exporting visions multiple times, from 2.0.14 the system started to warn them while the export is in progress. At the end of the export, the warning will disappear, and the generated file is automatically downloaded.
