Time zone, memory, core, and private DNS service configuration

To configure time zones, the memory, and the number of cores destined to the application containers, follow the steps below:

 

1.Make sure SoftExpert Suite is stopped:

C:\sesuite\sesuite.ps1 stop

 

Or, if the installation is using another disk, such as D:

D:\sesuite\sesuite.ps1 stop

 

2.To edit the time zone, the memory, or the number of cores, run the following command:

C:\sesuite\sesuite.ps1 settings

 

Or, if the installation is using another disk, such as D:

D:\sesuite\sesuite.ps1 settings

 

Available options:

 

1 - Edit timezone: Option used to edit the SoftExpert Suite time zone.

Check which time zone applies according to the region of the server or the wishes of the client/system administrator.

Open the Server Manager and search for the Time zone parameter.

Once the time zone is validated, it will be possible to check which will be used in the TimeZoneDB website.

2 - Edit GB of memory: Option used to edit the amount of memory GBs that will be passed to the SoftExpert Suite container.

The minimum is 12GB, but if the server has more resources, you can add more, according to your needs.

 

Check in the Task Manager how much memory the server has. It is important to align this configuration with the system administrator and with the client.

3 - Edit processors cores: Option used to define how many processor cores will be passed to the container.

The minimum is 6, but if the server has more, check how many will be used in the system requirements.

4 - Edit DNS: Option used to add/remove the DNS server configuration.

If you wish to add the DNS, select the 1 - Add DNS option and add the DNS server IP.

If you wish to remove the current DNS configuration, select the 2 - Remove DNS option.
