Authentication via LDAP

Previous  Top  Next

The LDAP (Lightweight Directory Access Protocol) authentication mode uses the "Connection String" field entered in the domain configuration (SE Configuration arrowrgray Authentication (CM008) arrowrgray Directory integration arrowrgray Domains section) to connect the domain and authenticate it using the provided user and password on the login screen of the system.

Therefore, it is necessary to ensure that the SE Suite server has access to this address on the port informed or on the default port used by the protocol (389) because the connection is from the system server and not from the client machine.

ATTENTION!

LDAP authentication mode should not be selected if synchronization was done using the SE Identity application or in situations where the SE Suite server is outside the local domain.
