Automatic authentication (Optional)

Previous  Top  Next

When you enable Single Sign-On, it is possible to use the automatic system authentication feature. This feature causes user sessions to start automatically when accessing any system page, such as a link received via email, for example.

In this mode, the login screen will only be accessed if the given URL is the specific address of the page, for example: https://example.softexpert.com/softexpert/login.

Some situations require some attention when enabling this feature, such as:

Only users who are synchronized with the directory service will authenticate automatically;

Internal users can access the system by entering only the URL of the login page;

When accessing a computer from outside the domain, the user may be redirected to an authentication page of the identity provider itself, where, after entering their credentials correctly, they will be redirected to SE Suite.
