General search now has additional options
Now the general search has additional resources to find the information you need. After conducting the research, it is possible to refine the result by using the “ID”, “Title”, “Description” and “Attributes” attributes or increase the impact of data searched through the “Equals...”, “Starts with”, “It finishes with” and “Contains” options.
Identifying changes to WebService used by the data source
It is now possible to identify webservices services from other applications that have undergone changes and that are linked to the SE Suite data source. To ensure the integrity of the SE Suite modules that use the previously recorded data source, it is recommended to create a new data source to consume the updated webservice.
Improved system configuration validator
From this release, when the system configuration validator identifies errors in the product configuration during its startup, only the configurations that require the restart of SE Suite to effect the changes are mandatory. The other configurations may be appropriate without the system reboot.
Microsoft Azure Active Directory support
User authentication was certified through the Active Directory protocol that is available in the cloud via Microsoft Azure.
SE-Identity visual configuration
The new version of the SE-Identity application has a graphical interface that allows parameterizing all the configurations required to synchronize data from Microsoft Active Directory users. The manual configuration of the XML file is no longer required.
Integration with other products through REST services
Through the REST data source, it is possible to transfer information or consume data from other systems. In that way, it is possible to experience the use of SE Form and SE Process components.
ADFS certificate alert about to expire
Users with access to the SE Configuration component will be alerted when the certificate used by ADFS authentication (SAML) is about to expire. With this, it is possible to anticipate and prevent unavailability of access to the system for end users.
ADFS authentication after restoring the database
Many customers are used to performing the backup of the production environment database and then restoring it in a release environment of the SE Suite with the purpose of allowing users to perform tests. Previously, if the release environment was configured to perform ADFS authentication, after restoring the database it was necessary to reconfigure the ADFS. This configuration is no longer needed after restoring the database.
Resetting the admin password
In the event of forgetting the admin password, the installation manual of the SE Suite now contains the procedure for restoring the password through the application.
Microsoft SQL Server 2017 support
The operation of the SE Suite with version 2017 of Microsoft SQL Server was certified.
PostgreSQL 10 support

End of support for Microsoft SQL Server 2008 and 2008 R2
For security reasons and product evolution guarantee, from this version, it is no longer possible to perform a new installation or to update the product that is using Microsoft SQL Server 2008 or 2008 R2 database.
End of Kerberos authentication protocol support
Aligned with the goals of SoftExpert of keeping its solution compatible with newer technologies and protocols, from the 2.0.12 version, Kerberos support for new configurations will no longer be available in the product.
Kerberos is a secure solution for integrated authentication, but it is a protocol that is designed to perform authentication within a network between applications in the same domain. In addition to having restrictions on the use in Web applications, its complexity for configuration is very high, with direct implications to the setup time of integration and maintenance of it every requirement update in the computational environment of the customer.
Over the past few years, SoftExpert has perceived by default the adoption of SAML for SSO integrations due to the greater interoperability of ease of configuration. As a result of this event, there has been a steep decline in the use of Kerberos.
We reinforce that support will continue to exist for clients that use Kerberos, but it will not be possible to make new parameterizations.
