Average risk calculation

In this version, the risk calculation for any plan structure element was implemented (Process, Activity, Project, etc.) based on the evaluation of all associated risks. Three options for risk calculation of risk plan structure element were made available, which are: result of the average of the evaluations of the risks, result of the risk with the highest evaluation, and result of the risk with the lowest evaluation.

To use this functionality, simply select, in the plan type, the type of automatic calculation of the risk. In the List of risks with graphs card in the Portal, it is possible to view the average risk of a group of risks of a plan.

 

 

Residual risk calculation with customized evaluation method

Residual risk is the risk that remains after the administration has taken the control measures to change the probability or the impact of risks. In the previous version, the automatic calculation of residual risk was made available. In this version, now it will be possible to configure different evaluation methods to evaluate the actual risk and the residual risk. That way, the system presents more customization possibilities in the automatic evaluation of the residual risk.

 

 

New icons to represent the actual, potential, and residual evaluations of the risk

Aiming at improving the graphical representation of the risk evaluation results, in this version, the icons and images that represent the actual, potential, and residual evaluations of the risk were modified.

 

 

New rules for risk plan revision

For the risk plans, the configuration of a revision route is optional, and it is not necessary to open a new revision of the plan to perform a new evaluation of the risk. Then, it is possible to add or edit a risk evaluation in any revision step of the risk plan. In many organizations, risk plans go through and approval route of the evaluated risks and, in those cases, a new evaluation of the risk is not allowed if the risk plan is not in the draft step. To meet this necessity, parameter "Allow risk and control to be evaluated only in the draft step" was added to the plan type. If you need to block the editing of already approved risk evaluations, simply enable parameter "Allow editing only the current risk and control evaluation" in the plan type. The two parameters will only be available for risk plans with revision route.
