Installation overview

This topic will present the installation process overview. See below the diagram that exemplifies the steps that will be covered in this documentation:

▪Pre-required activities: This step covers all activities that must be executed and finished before the SE Suite installation. Among them are activities to prepare the environment where SE Suite will be installed, such as the creation of the SE Suite installation directory structure, as well as the installation of third-parties software and dependencies that will be required by SE Suite.

▪Installation Activities: This step covers the configuration activities specific for SE Suite operation, such as the NGinx configuration, PHP compilation and installation, Apache Tomcat configuration, among others. The SE Suite installation procedures, made up of the preparation of the installation package, the edition of the XML installation file, and the installation execution, are also included in this step. At the end of the installation, you will find the service configurations, so that they are started during the Operating System startup.

▪Additional procedures: This step contains the activities that are executed after SE Suite installation. Among them are the post-installation activities, which include the SE Suite initial configuration and activation. Moreover, find in this step the configurations of some SE Suite functionalities, such as the directory service configuration on an external server. The configuration activities of workstations must be performed in the browsers that will access SE Suite, for example, the unblocking of the SE Suite domain pop-ups.
