When accessing the task data through the schedule, the “Advanced” tab screen will be available. On it, it will be possible to enter several data and, according to the restriction type, it may be necessary to enter the restriction date. The “Details” tab screen has been changed to “Summary”.
When planning the tasks of a particular project, it is possible to define the “Start no earlier than” and “Start no later than” restriction types. The “Start no earlier than" restriction means that the task may not start before the restriction date. The “Start no later than” restriction means that the task may not start after the restriction date. The “Fixed date” restriction type remains as an option.
While viewing the project schedule, it is possible to parameterize the display, selection, and highlight of tasks by taking into consideration restriction types.
When creating a schedule, it is possible to define tasks and, according to the characteristics of the project, add steps to it. These steps may be considered summary tasks, which may only have the: “Start no earlier than”, “Finish no later than”, and “As soon as possible” options.
When treating the schedule, it will be possible to parameterize the columns that will be displayed. In this way, it will be possible to configure a column to show the connection, or not, with a Form.
When planning a project, it is possible to enter all the summary information. From this implementation on, it will also be possible to edit the summary when the project is under revision.
By accessing Planning, Tracking, or View project, it is possible to parameterize the third quadrant view to display the project schedule.
While issuing the project task report, it is possible to parameterize the display of the results saved in the task.
When planning a project, it is possible to define, through the task type, whether or not an attribute will be used and whether it will be required, or not, in Planning/Tracking, Execution, and Timesheet. When planning the project and sending it to the next step without entering the required attributes, they will be highlighted for action to be taken. This very procedure is employed in the other sections.
When updating the execution of a project task, the system will save the information regarding who executed it. This information will be available for future queries.
When editing the project schedule, some adjustments have been made to the groups and to the task editing options.
When accessing the project schedule, the various screens will no longer be displayed, in contrast with the previous version. From this version on, the access to the schedule has been optimized.
When viewing/updating a project task, it is possible to add the cost rates and the revenues of the resource. These rates may be treated according to what is parameterizable when creating the resources.
