Lessons learned

From this version, the FMEA will bring an easy and fast way to redeem lessons learned in the execution of previous FMEA's. Once selected a Failure mode in the structure of the FMEA in draft step, a button located above the Mode, will list all FMEA that used this same Failure mode, making it possible to analyze and copy the Effects, Causes and Controls which were used, and most importantly, assess which implemented actions have had more effect to resolve or mitigate the selected Mode.

FMEA product family

From this version, it will be possible to create FMEA's product families. This new option is characterized by the possibility of creating an FMEA, called "upper level", where the same will have all the functionalities of a normal FMEA. This FMEA "upper level" will be possible to associate with other FMEA's, called "lower level".

The FMEA's “lower levels”, will receive as an inheritance, the whole structure of Failure modes, Effects, Controls and Recommended actions of the FMEA “upper level” to which it was associated. In this way, all changes in the FMEA “upper level”, will be automatically mirrored in FMEA's “lower level".
